The Dakota Society Sons of the American Revolution (DSSAR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the memory of the patriots who fought and sacrificed during the American Revolution. Through educational programs, historical preservation efforts and community engagement, we honor the legacy of our ancestors and their contribution to the establishment of the United States.

Becoming a member of the DSSAR allows you to connect with a community of individuals who share a passion for history, heritage and patriotism. Membership in the DSSAR is open to any male, regardless of race, age, religion or ethnic background, who can trace their ancestry to a patriot of the American Revolution. Becoming a member is a meaningful way to honor your ancestors while contributing to our nation’s historical legacy.
